The project has as its objective the reconversion of a large area and the urban fabric around the “Villa del Maino”, consisting of communication routes, parking lots, and fragmentary building settlements of poor architectural quality that in their anonymous presence close the views from the main director of Via Roma, denying the historical and architectural character of the eighteenth-century Villa Veneta. The entire area is to be recovered through the targeted demolition of existing buildings and the redevelopment and homogenization of the various sectors with the creation of a unitary architectural and urban intervention in three different proposals that can be realized in progressive phases. In addition, solutions are identified that can meet the urban planning, infrastructural and landscape requirements interconnected with the city’s operations and the reorganization needs of the entire Spinea area in the topics already anticipated by the feasibility study of the Master Plan of 2006 prepared by the Municipality .
